How You Can Help
Donate to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills
Our organization depends on the gifts of others to provide the best possible care for our patients and their families. Though hospice care is recognized by reimbursement sources such as Medicare, Medicaid and private insurance, not all care expenses are covered. The generosity of the community is needed to fill in the gaps and assure that all eligible patients can receive the full care they need and deserve, regardless of their ability to pay.

Planned Giving Can Help Hospice and You
Here are some commonly used ways to build a gift to hospice into your estate planning:
- Bequest in your will
- Charitable gift annuity
- Charitable remainder uniTrust
- Charitable remainder annuity trust
- Retained life estate interest in your personal residence
- Gift of paid up insurance policy
- Charitable lead trust
Your estate planner or tax specialist can explain these and other arrangements in greater detail. Whatever your choice, your gift will help insure that anyone in our community facing terminal illness, and their loved ones, will receive the benefits of hospice care.

Commemorative Path of Remembrance
You have the opportunity to honor your loved ones in a special way at the new
Hospice House in Landrum. Bricks imprinted with names, dates and special
messages commemorating your loved ones will form a "Path of
Remembrance" at the Hospice House site.
